ABOUT ME
My name is Marc Nolte. I'm from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Although I have always loved taking snapshots, I've recently become more and more serious about photography. Some photographers I like are Anton Corbijn, Robert Frank, Glen E. Friedman, Cecil Beaton, Steve Schapiro, Alfred Cheney Johnston and Edward Steichen, but I have to say; there are too many to mention and too many I don't know about yet. I love those photographers for their style, their ability to portrey an era, to convey feelings or the way they speak through their work.
OK, as much as I love photography, my biggest passion is music. I play guitar in two bands; one called The Quotes, the other Face Tomorrow. Check out the websites to listen to some songs etc.
Besides that I'm working on some other music projects. Check out my weblog to read what I've been working on lately.
And in general; I just like creating stuff. Whether it's building a website, designing a shirt, writing a song, drawing or painting, taking a photo etc. And fuck it; I know I'm not the most talented guy in the world. I don't excel in any of those things and probably never will, but the sheer joy I experience by following my heart and just doing what I want to do most is something I hope to be able to show you!
